Patient Advocates for Clinical Research (PACER) is a joint movement of CanKids Kidscan and APAR Health. It helps patients and families understand research in simple language, builds their confidence to ask questions, and empowers them to become “expert patients” who can represent the patient voice in clinical research. PACER bridges the gap between patients, doctors, and regulators by promoting trust, transparency, and compassion. This platform is a space to learn, connect, and be heard—because research becomes stronger, fairer, and kinder when patients lead the way.
