PROGRAM STRUCTURE:
ONLINE MODULES
A curated set of 9 hours of self-paced online modules covering research methodology, study design, ethics, and evidence-based thinking. Designed to build a strong academic foundation before students begin their projects.
FIELD OBSERVERSHIP
Hands-on exposure in real-world settings. Customizable field visits or observerships (3–5 hours/day) at hospitals, startups, or community settings. Students gain practical insight by observing professionals.
RESEARCH PAPER WRITING
Under guided mentorship, students’ progress through data interpretation, literature review, and structured writing. By the end of the program, they produce a research poster, report, or publication-ready paper based on their learnings and field observations.

- Research methodology
- Ethical Use of AI in Research
- How to make an impressive resume
- Evidence-based thinking AND MORE…….
These modules build a strong academic foundation before students begin exploratory field exposure or writing.
Hands-on exposure through customizable field visits or observerships in:

Students gain real-world insight by observing professionals in action.
With guided mentorship, students progress through:

- Critical appraisal and evidence synthesis
Designed to prepare students for independent academic work and publication.
With structured mentorship, students work through:
- Topic selection and refinement
- Data analysis or narrative synthesis
- Manuscript development
By the end of the program, participants produce:
a research poster, a structured report, or a publication in an indexed journal.

The SPARK course is a great initiative for beginners who are new to the world of research. The concepts are explained in a crisp and student friendly manner. For e.g., the difference between case control study and cohort study explained in the format of snapshot and a movie respectively is a great example of this.

Participating in SPARK has been nothing short of transformative for my understanding of clinical trials and research methodologies. Through its innovative approach of concise presentations and interactive sessions, Spark has demystified the complexities of clinical trials and broadened my perspective on various research methodologies. The program's emphasis on clear, small presentations made complex concepts accessible and comprehensible. Each session was meticulously designed to cover different aspects of research, from study design to ethical considerations, giving me a holistic view of the research process.

I really enjoyed being a part of the SPARK Program! Every step was rewarding: the online modules, the physical exposure and experiences, and the actual writing of the manuscript.
